Refund policy
At Maxi-Cosi, we care about ensuring that you and your family have a smooth and enjoyable experience with our products. We’ve designed our 7-day Return Policy to help guide you through the process should you need to return an item.
1. Eligibility:
1.1. The return policy applies to all products purchased directly from "www.maxi-cosi.ae" or any of its sub-domains.
1.2. To be eligible for a return, the product must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when it was received, including all accessories and documentation.
1.3. Please note that some products may not be eligible for returns, including:
- Products purchased at reduced prices during sales or promotional periods. These items can be exchanged within 3 days of the purchase date, but refunds will not be provided.
- Products that have been used, altered, or damaged by misuse, or that show signs of wear — even if they are still under warranty.
- Products without the original packaging and tags.
- Products that have been personalized or custom-made.
- Products that are perishable or have a limited shelf life.
- Products that are part of a bundle, unless the entire bundle is returned.
- Products missing any parts or accessories.
- Products marked as non-returnable or final sale at the time of purchase.
- Products purchased from our store in one country are considered non-refundable and non-returnable in any other country. This policy also applies to items purchased by a third party or a reseller on behalf of the customer.
2. Return Process:

2.2. When you contact us, be sure to include your order number, the product name, and the reason for the return, along with any other relevant details.
2.3. Our Parent Support Team will gladly assess your request and provide guidance on the next steps.
2.4. All return requests are subject to approval; returns that do not receive approval may not be accepted.
3. Packaging and Shipping:
3.1. The product should be safely packaged in its original packaging or a suitable alternative to ensure it’s not damaged during transit.
3.2. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless the return is due to an error on our part or the product is defective.
3.3. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure your return is received safely.
3.4. Original packaging must be intact and free of excessive markings, tape, or damage. Returns with heavily damaged or marked packaging may not be accepted.
4. Inspection and Refunds:
4.1. Once we receive the returned product, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets the return policy conditions.
4.2. If the return is approved, we will process your refund within 15 business days, using the original payment method.
4.3. If the product does not meet our return conditions, we’ll be in touch to discuss available options.
4.4. In the event customers are found to misuse the return policy by excessively returning, or returning items which are not in original condition or by canceling or not accepting the orders placed, we reserve the right to warn, restrict, suspend, block, and/or terminate such customer accounts, as necessary.
4.5. Returned items must match the original product purchased. Any discrepancies, including incorrect items, empty boxes, or mismatched serial numbers, may result in denial of the return and further action if necessary.
5. Exchanges and Store Credit:
5.1. If you’d prefer an exchange over a refund, just let our Parent Support Team know during the return process.
5.2. We’ll do our best to accommodate exchanges based on product availability. If your preferred item is unavailable, we may offer a store credit as an alternative.
6. Defective or Damaged Items:
6.1. If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us right away.
6.2. We may ask for photos or other details to help us assess the issue.
6.3. In these cases, we’ll cover the return shipping cost and work with you to provide a replacement, repair, or refund.
6.4. At Maxi-Cosi, we work hard to ensure all our products meet the highest standards and are free from any defects.
We consider a defect to be any issue in the manufacturing process or material that affects the product's quality beyond what you would reasonably expect.
However, please note that the following situations won't be considered defects, and returns won't be accepted under these circumstances:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Damage due to negligence, improper use, or accidents.
- Damage from electrical surges or exposure to sea air.
- Issues caused by inadequate care for the product.
- Damage from unauthorized modifications.
- When a product, though accurately described and suitable for its intended purpose, doesn’t meet your personal preferences.
7. Customer Responsibilities:
7.1. Please ensure the product is returned within the 7-day window, starting from the date of receipt.
7.2. We ask that you take good care of the product and its packaging during the return process to avoid any damage.

8. Policy Updates:
8.1. Maxi-Cosi reserves the right to update this return policy at any time without prior notice.
8.2. Any changes will take effect immediately upon posting to our website.
